The main features of the Jim Dunlop GCB95 include:
The original CRYBABY Wah Wah pedal that has been a standard in the world of music since its introduction in the late 1960’s
Heavy die cast construction for years of reliability
100K ohm Hot Potz potentiometer that allows for that quick, abrupt wah sound
Powered by the optional Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter and/or 9 volt battery
Its just a legend. Bought it as a Christmas present for a friend - and this really made him happy. Many legendary musicians use this, dont think there is a reason of buying a signature model, this on is universal
A classic. It is what it is: a wah pedal. It can save your solos when you panic / get lost in your brain :) Indicator light would be a nice feature. You cant see if the pedal is on. You must hear it. Once I really couldnt hear my guitar on a gig and played half of the set with the wah-pedal on. Must have been quite squiky sounding performance, hah!
Its the classic wah that every musician should play with sometime in his life. It has that personal tone and either youre gonna love it or youre gonna just like it. I personally love it. The fact that you press it down so you can activate it is very helpful for me and the fact that its so simple makes it just perfect for my tastes.
Its build like a tank. Literally. And its very heavy too.
Really nice pedal for its price. Suitable for beginner guitarisst who want to enjoy the classic wah sound for a little price. Comes in a nice designed box. Easy to setup and fun to play. Gives your guitar playing experience an extra. Build quality is also great on this pedal and is build to last.
Solid construction, easy to set up. Can get different sounds depending on placement in effects chain. Only had a slight issue with the power connection. I had to use a straight connector instead of an angled connector as the power connection is sunk into the case. Not really a big deal if you have the parts needed.
