I've been playing slinkys for many years. Everything from skinny little 8's to 12's. When the Cobalts came out, I even used those for awhile. Recently a friend told me the D'ad NYXL was the best string in the world and that I should try them. Ok. I tried them. They break on me all the time. Not while playing either. Just tuning up. I thought initially maybe there was a sharp edge cutting into the string somewhere. But no, they were breaking in the middle. I never had this problem with Ernie Ball. So enough of the high priced D'ads. I'm back with Slinkys and I won't switch again. They make plenty of different versions. From high output alloys like the Cobalts to warm nickel to general purpose well rounded strings like these. I play Rock and Blues mostly, and these work great. Once the stretch is finished, they'll stay in tune no matter how much bending you do. Wipe your strings down after playing and they will last a good long time too!
I bought these strings the first time.
Strings rather quite good, generate a good sound. Force tension not so rigid.
I think will approach both to beginners and professionals. Quite correspond to the price. I recommend.
