With the Fender 75th Anniversary Stratocaster NOS RW DiamondWhite Pearl, the FenderCustom store in Corona, California celebrates the 75th birthday of the tradition-rich company. The company, founded by Leo Fender and Clayton Orr "Doc" Kauffman, has been in business since 1946 and has changed the music world from the ground up with immortal designs such as the Telecaster, the Precision Bass and, of course, the Stratocaster. Reason enough for the FenderCustom store to mark the anniversary with an especially noble interpretation of the most successful design among solidbody guitars. Of course the instrument comes with matching hardshell Case and a signed certificate of authenticity.
Selected Alder & 5A Birdseye Maple
For the anniversary instrument, the Custom store makes use of the finest tonewoods and crafts the body according to the classic Strat recipe from hand-selected alder with extended contours of the year 1957, while the neck is made from stunning birdseye maple in alder AAAAA quality and features a slim-playing oval C profile in the style of the sixties. Finishing off the neck construction is a 9mm AAA rosewood fingerboard in Round-Lam construction with a modern 9.5" radius.

Three Custom Shop Fat '60s single coils give the 75th Anniversary Stratocaster the right voice for any situation.
Hand wound Fat '60s single coils.
To evoke both the feel and authentic sound of the golden Strat era, the FenderCustom Shop relies on three hand-wound Custom Shop Fat '60s single coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions for the 75th Anniversary Stratocaster NOS RW DiamondWhite Pearl. The three single coils are wired in classic fashion via a 5-way switch, Master volumeand two separate tone controls for neck and middle, and ably cover the Stratocaster's classically flexible soundstage.
All hardware parts including pickguard, output jack, tuners and custom store neck plate are finished with classy gold finish.
Precious Gold Hardware & Custom Finish
As a special touch, Fender adds some stunning visual appointments to the anniversary model, indicating the special occasion of this instrument. For example, the body of the 75th Anniversary Stratocaster NOS is wrapped in a unique Diamond White Pearl nitrocellulose finish and features uniform gold hardware in the form of a 6-saddle Vintage tremolo, output jack and six vintage-style tuners with precious Pearl wings, while the gold Custom Shop neck plate, anniversary decal on the back of the headstock and the enclosed certificate of authenticity allude to the special occasion of this instrument.
