The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe MN Mocha celebrates the iconic Seventies version of the Telecaster in its 1975 configuration. The electric guitar, equipped with two humbuckers, revised body contours and resonant hardtail bridge, was designed specifically for the hard rock music of the era and is still considered a popular model among guitarists of alternative and indie rock. Reason enough for Fender to revive the Telecaster Deluxe as part of the American Vintage II series. including case and certificate!
Telecaster body with belly cut
Following the popular design of the Stratocaster, the alder body of the Telecaster Deluxe has also been given a belly cut to improve the playability of the instrument both on the strap and on the lap. Also unique to this Telecaster model is the large CBS-era headstock, while the modern 9.5-inchfretboardradius provides simplified bending on the 21 Vintage Tall frets of the maple fingerboard.
Pure Vintage Wide Range Humbucker
As a sound-giving element of the Telecaster Deluxe two classic Fender Pure Vintage Wide Range Humbuckers may not be missing, of course. The two double coils with CuNiFe magnets produce compared to conventional humbuckers a brighter sound with clear borrowings from the single coil and convince with their increased output. Both Wide Range humbuckers are controlled via separate controls for Volume and Tone.
Hardware & Parts
Unlike the traditional Telecaster ashtray, the Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe features a Pure Vintage 6-saddle hardtail bridge that provides each string with a single string saddle for precise intonation adjustment. Combined with the iconic three-ply pickguard, classic 'skirted' control knobs and six Pure Vintage Tele Deluxe tuners , this forms the distinctive look of the Fender Telecaster Deluxe.
