Microphone Preamp The Fredenstein F601A is a discretely built Class-A microphone preamp. Its Zero-Negative-Feedback design ensures for fantastic sounding results, which becomes apparent in the Low-End and in the Transient playback. The highs of the F601A sound pleasantly detailed without being harsh. At work are Lundahl LL1578 XL & LL1517 transformers. A special feature is that the input and output transformers can be switched on and off independently of each other. Conveniently the output level automatically remains constant as the internal microcomputer balances the amplification.
