With the Gibson Les Paul Custom Reissue VOS Ebony 3-Pickup the Gibson Custom Shop presents an authentic reissue of the very first Black Beauty Les Paul Custom with three pickups and iconic "Tuxedo Look". The deep black VOS nitrocellulose finish with an authentic vintage patina conceals a one-piece mahogany body with a scalloped top and a glued mahogany neck with a not-too-bold "'50s Rounded Medium C" profile, whose ebony fingerboard block Inlays made of mother-of-pearl marks the layers. Three Gibson custom bucker with Alnico III magnets, which are managed by the historically correct circuit with Paper-in-Oil Caps, also promise first-class vintage sounds in the best PAF tradition. Last but not least, the 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue VOS Ebony 3-PIckpu features historically correct Hardware in the form of a no-wire ABR-1 bridge, Aluminium-Stopbar and Kluson waffleback tuners.

Tradition-conscious construction
For the construction of the 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue, the Gibson Custom Shop naturally relies on historically correct production methods to guarantee an authentic sound and playing experience. The classically designed singlecut body is made in one piece from mahogany, whereby the careful selection of wood ensures a pleasantly portable weight. The one-piece mahogany neck is also glued to the long neck foot, which has a positive effect on the resonance and Sustain of the guitar. The "'50s Rounded Medium C" neck profile, which is not too thick, sits comfortably in the hand and promises easy implementation of classic blues and rock techniques. Last but not least, "1950s Pattern" block Inlays made of genuine mother-of-pearl mark the layers of the 22-fret ebony fingerboard.

Equipped with Alnico III magnets and non-waxed copper coils, the humbuckers impress with an authentic PAF sound, whose warm mid-range spectrum in combination with the airy highs and organic dynamics skillfully supports expressive electric guitar playing in the genres of blues, rock or jazz. The hand-wired circuit works historically correctly and calls up the neck and bridge pickups individually in the outer positions of the Switchcraft switch, while the bridge and middle pickups work together in the middle position. Authentic oil paper capacitors also promise particularly harmonious Treble roll-offs with the tone pots.

Behind the nylon nut, Kluson waffleback tuners with wings made from Pearloid ensure precise and stable tuning on the headstock.
