The Gibson Johnny A Spruce Top Tobacco Burst Limited Edition was developed together with Johnny A alias John Antonopoulos, who has accompanied the Yardbirds as guitarist since 2015. Based on a mahogany body with generous resonance chambers and solid spruce top, the Gibson Johnny A Spruce Top delivers the sound of a large hollow body electric guitar. At the same time, the compact design guarantees comfortable handling. The amplifier also features two Gibson Custom buckers for classic Humbucker sounds between blues and Rock , while the classic Vintage style Hardware convinces with unrestricted functionality.
The Gibson Johnny A Spruce Top Limited Edition combines the sound of a Hollowbody electric guitar with the handling of a compact Solid Body guitar.

This is due to the unique combination of the long 25.5" scale (648 mm) and the unique body. This consists of a massive piece of mahogany with generous resonance chambers and a massive spruce top. Thanks to the classic " Medium C" profile, the mahogany neck also offers comfortable playability across all layers of the Palisander fingerboard.
