The large dreadnought body of the Artwood AW54CE-OPN acoustic guitar features laminated Okoume back and sides, on which a solid Okoume top vibrates. As a result, this steelstring delivers a powerful sound image that presents every note with tight basses, multi-faceted, warm mids and velvety highs. The Ibanez Artwood AW54CE-OPN is also well equipped for amplified use, thanks to the integrated pickup system, which consists of the Fishman Sonicore pickup under the compensated saddle and the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp in the top frame. It delivers a natural output of the instrument and playing style, so that nothing stands in the way of expressive guitar playing. Really crisp sounding acoustics, with easy playability. Love the deep mahogany tone from this guitar. In terms of delivery: it came in a well secured and protected box before the predicted delivery date, so i was very pleased.
Can't fault this guitar, especially at the price I paid (£244). Well made, looks great and it has fantastic warm sound with plenty of punch, both acoustically and through an amp.
