In 1999 Martin entered the world of alternative materials and created a whole new class of high-quality guitars: the X-Series. Over the 20 years, the X-Series has evolved to include several design changes and alternative materials. This Grand Performance model with solid hardwood neck, mother-of-pearl dot fretboard and rosette inlay and Morado fretboard and bridge is a reminder of the early days of the X-Series.
