The Pioneer DJM-V10-LF is a professional 6-channel club mixer designed specifically for DJs and demanding performances. Featuring extended 60-mm channel faders and optimized curve preset management, it delivers precise and seamless mixing capabilities. This mixer stands out with its exceptional sound quality and innovative features, elevating creative DJing to a whole new level. The six channels allow for connections to CDJs, turntables, and other devices with line signals, ensuring maximum flexibility when choosing equipment. A key highlight of the DJM-V10-LF is the specially developed 4-band EQ, which enables detailed and personalised sound adjustments. Each channel also includes a filter that can function as either a high-pass or low-pass filter and is precisely controllable thanks to its resonance control. The integrated send/return section opens up entirely new creative possibilities by seamlessly incorporating external effects into your setup. The 3-band master isolator allows for drastic adjustments to the master signal, while the compressor in each channel effectively balances volume differences between tracks, ensuring a harmonious overall mix. Other standout features include the enhanced Beat FX, with the addition of the new “Shimmer” effect, which adds depth and harmonic richness to your tracks. With dual headphone outputs and a dedicated Booth EQ, optimising sound within the DJ booth becomes straightforward, and switching or performing alongside other DJs is effortless.
The crossfader has given way for the required space of the long 60 mm faders. The emphasis here is on more detailed volume control for smoother transitions, which is much more accurate with the 45mm faders installed in the V-10.
In addition to the two classic and at the same time improved fader curves for the ideal use of the complete fader length, the Pioneer DJ - DJM-V10-LF has been extended by a third curve preset. This preset allows finer adjustment of the level.
The 4-band EQ allows a more detailed intervention in the frequency spectrum, so that the sound can be perfectly tuned. For each band, the frequencies, curves, boost and cut ranges have been designed for maximum flexibility. In addition, you can cut the highs and/or lows completely and use the two mid ranges to perfectly control every nuance in the mix.
The Pioneer DJ - DJM-V10-LF stands for a warm, natural sound, rich bass, vibrant mids and precise treble. High-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converters, 96-kHz/64-bit mixing and dithering in the DSP and the low-jitter clock provide the appropriate sound or outstanding sound quality.
Unlike the renowned DJM-900NXS2, the DJM-V10 offers double and much finer filter resolution in addition to resonance control. This is due to the separation of the high and low pass filters, each of which is available to the full range of dedicated filter controls per channel. The two filters are selected via the LPF & HPF buttons and allow for easy fine-tuning up to drastic interventions for crazy sound manipulations.
The Send/Return section of the Pioneer DJ - DJM-V10-LF allows a wide variety of effects combinations. Each of the six channels has a dedicated Send control, allowing you to send the signal to one of the four built-in FX or up to two external effects units. External effects include guitar effects pedals and other FX equipment. For further sound shaping of the effects, you can send them back to a free channel in the mixer and process them using channel EQ or filters. When the Master Mix button is pressed, the selected effects signal goes directly to the master output.
To achieve a consistent mix between unmastered or older tracks and loudly mixed productions, the DJ DJM-V10 provides one compressor per channel. This gives the quieter tracks the necessary punch to achieve a more homogeneous mix. The degree of compression is controlled by the corresponding comp knob.
With the DJ DJM-V10 you can easily perform in pairs, as it has two independent headphone outputs. This allows you to pre-listen to different channels in addition to the common mix signal, which is also ideal for smooth DJ changes. Each headphone output provides its own cue/master mix and volume control. In addition, the Booth EQ allows for adjustments in the bass and treble ranges of the monitor speakers to relieve the ears during extended performances.
