Last but not least, the Basic VM4 bass guitar is equipped with a Sandberg Bridge 4 and encapsulated Sandberg Die-Cast Machine Heads.

For the construction of the Basic VM, the Brunswick company relies on a proven wood selection that guarantees a crisp sound with even Sustain. Accordingly, the body is made of ash, while the six-piece bolt-on neck is made of five-piece maple with mahogany dividing veneers and carries a maple fingerboard. The flat C-profile offers smooth playability across all 24 frets, while the modern body design maintains a perfectly balanced playing position on both the strap and thigh.
With a Sandberg split coil and a Sandberg power humbucker, the Basic VM bass guitar delivers versatile tones.
Sandberg pickups and active 2-band tone control
The pickups on the Basic VM4 Black Satin are a Sandberg Split-Coil and a Sandberg Powerhumbucker. The bass amplifier offers a wide range of sounds, from the rich, assertive midrange punch of the bridge pickup to the growling low-mids of the midrange pickup. The active 2-band tone control allows a precise tuning of the sound. By pulling the volume control, the Bass can also be set to passive mode.
Encapsulated and oil-bearing Sandberg die-cast machine heads guarantee precise tuning.

On top of the body sits the solidly built Sandberg Bridge 4, whose three-dimensionally adjustable string saddles allow precise adjustment of intonation, string action and string spacing. On the headstock, behind the zero fret and nut, encapsulated and oil-bearing Sandberg Die-Cast Machine Heads ensure precise tuning with high stability.
