The Spector ReBop 5 DLX 40CS BSM Black Stain Matte is a 5-string electric bass from the Spector Euro Series, and has a curved body, EMG pickups and active 2-band electronics. Spector presents a versatile 5-string that offers high playing comfort and versatility. While the curved body nestles comfortably against the player, active EMG pickups and Spector Tone Pump electronics provide variable sounds.
The body of the ReBop 5 DLX 40CS is made of alder and intensively flamed curly maple and has the typical curvature of Spector basses, through which the instrument fits comfortably against the bass player and occupies a stable playing position. The 5-fold screwed maple neck carries a rosewood fingerboard and lies comfortably in the hand thanks to the matt sealing. The extra-long 35" scale (889mm) also reproduces the low A string with precise attack and harmonious balance.
The ReBop 5 DLX 40CS is equipped with active EMG 40CS humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, which deliver an impressive modern sound. Thanks to the ceramic magnet and steel poles, the powerful pickups have a balanced sound that harmoniously integrates the low B-string into the sound with a rich attack in the bass range and smooth highs. The sound can also be adjusted via the in-house Tone Pump 2-band active electronics.
