The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue is a 6-string electric guitar that brings timeless style and design together with stunning value.
The Affinity Series Stratocaster features a contoured Alder body that has been designed for the very best in comfort and playability and has been finished in hard-wearing polyurethane. The body is joined by a Maple neck with a "C" shape profile and large '60s style headstock. The neck is finished off with a rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets.
The body of the Affinity Series Strat features the same pickup configuration that has been used throughout the models illustrious history. Thanks to these 3 Standard Single-Coil pickups, an incredibly wide range of tones are available that will cover every possible situation. Also present is a 5-position blade-style pickup selector switch, along with a master volume and 2 independent tone controls.
Finishing the look off, the Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster comes equipped with a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo and standard die-cast machineheads, all finished in chrome, as well as a 3-ply white/black/white pickguard.

this is a nice jazz blues guitar i mainly recommend it to beginners. its a bolt on neck so there isnt much sustain, this guitar works good for like a year and a half then you get little trouble with the operations. but it last for a long time ive had mine for 5 years still works good but no the operations you get a little trouble. i do not recommend it for metal or for other heavy songs

It is an incredibly good guitar for the price. Light, beautiful, and I am surprised by the quality of the fret work, which is not far from perfect, and definitely better than on my 2007 MIM strat. The setup is already pretty good, and the guitar is pretty much playable, right out of the box.
Would by it again without hesitation, and from Musicstore again, as they have a very good service.
