The Sterling by Music Man Majesty DiMarzio Majestic Purple impresses as a signature guitar of Dream Theater string wizard John Petrucci with exemplary playing characteristics and multifaceted metal sounds. Based on the classic set-neck design, the electric guitar has an ergonomic Mahogany body and a three-piece Mahogany neck, which thanks to the slim "D" profile guarantees unhindered playability over all 24 stainless steel frets of the Ebony fingerboard. On the guitar amp, the tried and tested combination of a DiMarzio Crunch Lab on the bridge and a DiMarzio Liquifire Humbucker on the neck ensures powerful and expressive metal sounds with clean tones, even during drop tunings. The active electronics of the SBMM Majesty DiMarzio also boosts the signal by up to 12 dB if desired, giving solos additional punch or pushing the overdrive.
