The software synthesizer String Machines by the French plug-in company UVI (Univers Sons) is a modern software variant of past synthesizer greats with a focus on string sounds.
For example, the Orchestra analog synthesizer from the Italian manufacturer SIEL (identical in construction to APR Quartet) has been reproduced with the finest equipment. In addition, the Performer from CRUMAR, which clearly gained its popularity more through its strings than through its brass sounds. Many will remember the Performer from songs by the band Duran Duran. The sounds of the string keyboard Rhapsody from the Italian company ELKA are also represented in the sound library. Thanks to the numerous presets, you can access a wide range of the finest string sounds of the 70s with String Machines and also layer them, program arpeggios and link modulators. Here you get the well-tried sounds with current, contemporary possibilities.
