15 watt full tube combo with two channels and Celestion G12M Greenback speaker
The VOX AC15C1 Custom Series is an electric guitar amplifier combo.
First introduced in 1958, the VOX AC15 has been the amp of choice for countless guitar players throughout the world. Drawing on more than 50 years of amp-building expertise, the VOX AC15C1 offers maximum tonal dexterity.
The VOX AC15C1 Custom Series amplifiers offer two channels: Normal and Top-Boost. Each is equipped with its own Volume control and the Top Boost channel offers additional Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic sound that is all your own. Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section.
The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver everything from that clean VOX sound to powerful overdriven tones.
The VOX AC15C1 Main Features Include:
15 Watts RMS power into 8/16 ohms
3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes
2 x EL84 power tubes
Single 12” Celestion G12M Greenback
Switchable 8/16 ohm jack for powering an external speaker cabinet
An extension speaker jack allows you to run an extra 16-ohm cabinet alongside
This is a great amp. It has the great vox chime and for its 15 watt its extremely loud.I use this amp mainly to play U2 covers but i have played some GNR and greenday on this amp and it handles them very well
Tone cut and normal channel is a great addition to the CC1 its predecessor as is the greenback speaker by celestion. The clean sounds are absolutely amazing but when you put the volume up it has a real sweet overdrive. It handles pedals pretty well. The only downside of this amp is that its pretty heavy. But it sure is worth the tug. in its price range im pretty sure you wont find a better amp.

Classic and very inspiring clean sound either with my fender strat or with gibson les paul. Built in Reverb and Tremolo are great additions and help constructing that beautiful sound. As far as the dirt goes dont expect to play heavy metal but its ok for some hard rock or grunge. Just put some time on the tone controls (bass and treble) and you will get few different sounds...
Excellent amp, has that classic vox sound in spades, lovely tremolo circuit also looks great and sounds great and will cover most styles of music, classic rock, country, surf, indie
