What sound does the WA-14 deliver?

With the WA-14, Warm Audio delivers a special large diaphragm condenser microphone, which reminds of the original AKG C-414 with CK12 capsule with its sound characteristics. It owes the vintage sound to both the capsule from "Lens Kondensator" and the built-in premium CineMag USA transformer. The sound of the microphone is not only warm and thus suitable for intimate vocal recordings, but it also scores with aggressive guitar and percussion recordings.

Versatile application possibilities

Even more flexibility is offered by the wide frequency range (20Hz - 20kHz) and the two front pad and characteristic switches. Here the user can choose between cardioid, figure-eight and omnidirectional characteristics, while attenuation is available in 2 steps up to -20dB. No matter which instrument you choose - the unique sound is always audible!
