The Yamaha CLP-745 digital piano features a weighted GrandTouch-S™ keyboard with real wood keys, providing a natural, accurate playing experience. 38 tones, including the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos created with binaural sampling, provide superb sound. The use of Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) technology opens up new dimensions of sound in digital pianos. New to the Yamaha CLP-745 are the sounds of the fortepiano (hammerklavier), which make it possible to hear especially classical music of the 18th and early 19th century in a natural way. The integrated amplifier with 2 x 50 watts of power provides an enormous sonority and optimal sound behaviour.
GrandTouch-S™ real wood keyboard
The Yamaha CLP-745 digital piano features a high-quality GrandTouch-S™ touch-sensitive real wood keyboard with great dynamics and a responsive feel on par with a concert grand piano. The surface of all the digital piano's highly absorbent white keys is made of synthetic ivory, and the black keys feature faux ebony. This prevents slippage even during long playing sessions and provides a natural playing feel. A pressure point mechanism built into the keyboard replicates the feel just before the end of keyboard pressure. This mechanism was designed to be felt only when light pressure is applied, similar to the keyboard of a concert grand piano.
Full sound experience
Grand Expression Modeling, a newly developed technology in the field of digital pianos, interprets the interaction and interplay of the mechanical elements of a concert grand piano. The interaction and interplay of the hammers, dampers, and strings when the keys are struck are optimally reproduced. The two sounds of the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos, recorded with binaural sampling, provide an incomparable sound pleasure. Another special feature is the sounds of the fortepiano ( Hammerklavier ), which reproduces the classical music of the 18th and early 19th century in a natural way.
