What can I use the M 70 Pro X for?
With the dynamic M 70 Pro X, Beyerdynamic offers an XLR microphone for broadcast applications in the home and studio. The microphone is ideal for recording speech and vocals.
Sound & processing
The microphone offers a verygood signal-to-noise ratio in addition to the high-resolution sound image, which is produced by its balanced frequency response. In addition, the tuned proximity effect ensures that the clarity of the recording remains the same, even if the distance from the mouth to the microphone changes. In addition, the microphone is excellently manufactured and its design meets the requirements of modern users.
Optimum protection against dust, breathing air and structure-borne noise
The integrated, elastic system suspension of the M 70 Pro X effectively prevents structure-borne noise and the pop protection included in the scope of delivery generously suppresses plosive sounds so that there is no popping or hissing. The included pop filter and integrated high-density foam also protect the capsule from dust.
Operating the M 70 Pro X
To operate the microphone, simply plug in the three-pin XLR cable and connect the other end to a preamplifier or interface. As the M 70 Pro X works with a dynamic transducer principle, nophantom power is required. As the microphone has a cardioid polar pattern, only the sound that hits the diaphragm from the front is picked up. This allows the microphone to be optimally positioned and aligned.
High quality & sustainable
Beyerdynamic is characterized by the use of high-quality materials. The best prerequisites for a reliable, functional microphone with outstanding recording quality. And for many years to come, because parts such as the capsule, circuit board, plug or housing parts can be replaced and repaired if necessary.
