ANTELOPE Edge Modelling Microphone

The Antelope Audio Edge Modelling Microphone is a smooth and natural sounding large diaphragm condenser microphone, with advanced mic modelling technology. Despite being a transparent high-quality performer in its own rite, the Edge can reproduce the response, polar-pattern and character of revered microphones from the history of recording. Each side of the dual gold-sputtered diaphragm sends a dedicated individual output, meaning each side can processed independently of the other. Used in combination with one of Antelope’s pre-amp equipped audio interfaces and the advanced emulation algorithms, the Edge becomes one of the most accurate 3-D modelling tools currently available. The emulations included with the Edge at purchase are the Berlin 47 FT, Berlin 87, Berlin 67, Tokyo 800T and the Edge itself. More microphone emulations are being made available by Antelope on an on-going basis.
