The Behringer TRUTH B2031A is the substantially improved successor to our best-selling B2031.
It is a high-resolution, active 2-way reference studio monitor with XLR and ¼" TRS servo balanced inputs that delivers very neutral sound and has an extremely flat frequency response (50 Hz - 21 kHz).
It includes built-in 150- and 75-Watt power amps with enormous power reserve plus separately controlled limiters for low and high frequency overload protection. Tight, deep bass is provided by a long-throw 8 ¾" woofer with a special polypropylene diaphragm, while a ferrofluid-cooled HF driver guarantees clear and detailed highs. The unique BEHRINGER wave guide and the extremely low-distortion active crossover network with 4th order Linkwitz-Riley filters produce an absolutely linear phase response with excellent sound dispersion and stereo imaging together with an extremely large “sweet spot”.
The B2031A is adjustable to a wide range of acoustic conditions or subwoofer combinations and magnetic shielding allows placement near computer/video monitors. All TRUTH monitors are delivered as “matched pairs” with individual response curves.
Bought this as playback LS for location recordings to add some bottom end and augment 2 small Genelecs. Despite having a calibration certificate showing flat to 40Hz, in reality, frequency sweeping shows that the output drops off dramatically below 50Hz; bear in mind bottom E on a bass guitar is 42Hz. Comparing with the Genelecs and a treasured pair of Celestion Ditton 66's, the Behringer Truth is a little muddy in the 150Hz region. Having said that, this is an unfair comparison as the Behringer retails for £126 whereas the Genelec equivalent is around £650. I'm happy to use this for playback but I honesty would not like to mix on them. Operation wise, I was disappointed that the only control of volume is a miniature pot at the rear which only gives control over 12dBs. If you're going to copy the Genelecs then do as they do and have a reasonably sized, front mounted, volume control that goes from off to max. You gets what you pays for
For begin i want to sorry for my English :)

About monitors.
I heard a lot of words about 2031A. And finally i have bought them. Sound pretty good. Good for them coast. Panorama so good, also i heard reverberation, and it is make me happy :)
2031a really smooth. But not without a little irregularity.
Space: i have said that i heard reverberation and panorama. But you will not hear a plans on this monitors, though you will not hear it on any monitors of this price.
Bass. I dont know why, but here a little bass, at least in my room. And it is bad, i expected better.
Generally, I am pleased with this purchase.
These monitors are available for working.
Thanks.
At last, I finally got my Behringer 2031a
When I opened the box, I connect them and got clear, the monitor sound!
I immediately realized that this model is worth the money, I do not regret them!
Perhaps the most distinguishing features of this model is its sound, and price.
Great looks, fit neatly into my room.
How amazing they transmit voice, as if Youre in a concert.
Detailed sound in high frequencies is mesmerizing.
The distinguishing feature of these monitors is the ability to easily customize the sound is coming from the premises whether home or studio use.
B2031As have a room compensation switch to let you tailor the mix to any studio layout. You can place them up against a wall or even in a corner if you have to, and still get accurate playback.
Lack of detail is spared a similar cost model acoustics and B2031A no exception - although for us it is not a surprise. The main disadvantage of playing B2031A appears in the lower-mid frequencies. In the region of 100 Hz is observed accentuated sound that leads to the color tone and resonance mumbling. If in the 100-200 Hz with an equalizer attenuated by 3-4 dB, the sound is much better, more true.
They also have a large margin of volume, they are very loud
I believe that the model copes with its original purpose as a studio monitor for the price!
I dont know what else to say about them. I mean, theyre flat, theyre super accurate, theyre super inexpensive!
nice one,for semi pro monitor they are very Bright
good sound
nice low end
the sense of space that those tweeters confer is enrapturing
vocals were smooth, delicately etched and superbly projected into the room
Theyre not sweet, theyre not rich - theyre just neutral
Ordered and paid for a stereo pair of these monitors and only received one. Contacted support and was told that they were looking into it. I don’t know what they are looking into, it’s obvious what needs to happen, The Music Store needs to send me what I paid for immediately. Also the site says the monitors cost €199 each but on checkout I was charged €411 for a pair! Basic addition must be different in Germany😂
