The cult filter from the EDP Wasp respectively Behringer Wasp Deluxe is succinctly named Wasp VCF and is based on the Doepfer A-124. The resonant multimode filter with crossfadeable low-pass Highpass characteristic and separate bandpass output is anything but tame: mean, beastly, hissing and always assertive are all words that apply to this filter; just like a real wasp visiting you on the terrace. There are two control voltage inputs for the cutoff parameter, one of which has its own attenuator.
