The Epiphone ES-175 is a new version of the popular Archtop, which has a huge following of fans in Jazz, Blues and Rock. Born the era of Jazz and young Pop, the ES-175 was the first Archtop with a cutaway, also known as "Florentine”.

Back then the ES-175 was much more affordable than the already established L-5. Then at the end of the 50s as a newly developed humbuckers came along, the 175 became even more flexible and popular, the rest is history.

The ES-175 is equipped with original USA Gibson '57 Classic Humbuckers, covering a wide musical spectrum, which are very similar to the PAF Humbuckers from back in the day.
