At first glance the DD-Lite doesn't make a totally different impression than already established e-drum versions from Fame, although the size is somewhat more compact. This allows for a very quick setup and simpler transport. Recreated from an acoustic set, the DD-Lite features 4 drum pads, one of which acts as snare drum, three cymbal pads for hihat, crash and ride cymbals, and two pedals for the hihat machine and bass drum. Space saving yet flexible positioning, the DD lite is exceptionally suited as a practice set for the home, with low-noise and genuine feel while playing.
The DD-Lite sound module consists of a simple design and an even simpler and intuitive control. The initial setup doesn't require a lot of effort, and the user can explore a number of various preset patterns and sets. 10 preset kits made up of 108 instruments and sounds as well as 40 preset patterns are at your fingertips. If this selection isn't enough, your own kits can be created with the module and saved for a later session. With its 6 buttons and one knob to control the volume and the 3 digit LED display allows you put together any imaginable kit, edit the individual sounds, program clicks and the DD Lite also offers a range of training functions to further develop your skills. The practical AUX IN input allows an mp3 player to be connected to the sound module so that you can play along to your favourite music.
