The double coils in the classic "3+3" pole piece design known from his Kingfish Telecaster Deluxe rely on Alnico 5 magnets for the neck position and Alnico 3 at the bridge and offer a wide dynamic range that unfolds especially with leads played in the overdrive channel through expressive sounds and long-lasting Sustain.
