The Fender Offset Mustang Bass PJ RW SOB Sonic Blue is one of the most enduring, iconic bass designs used in bands ranging from The Rolling Stones to My Chemical Romance. This is an updated version of the original short-scale model with enhancements from one vintage-style split single-coil Precision Bass pickup and one vintage-style single-coil Jazz Bass pickup.
This combination lends itself to the power and flexible, thunderous bass tone with a smooth playing feel and slick visual style from a classic “C”-shape neck made of strong maple. This neck is connected to a slender rosewood fingerboard adorned with 19 medium jumbo frets and white dot inlays.
