GIBSON Les Paul Studio 2017 T Lefthand Black Cherry Burst
Left-handed electric guitar with maple top and Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers, including case
The Gibson Les Paul Studio 2017 T is a straightforward workhorse for recording and stage, which emphasizes sound alone by not using optical ornamentation. Based on the traditional mahogany construction with maple top, the electric guitar provides the perfect foundation for the classic Les Paul sound, while the Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers with the coil split option provide the amplifier with variable tones.
Gibson's Les Paul Studio 2017 T combines simple design with powerful features.
Classically built Les Paul with focus on sound
In designing the Gibson Les Paul Studio 2017 T, the Nashville-based Gibson USA Factory follows the classic 1952 specifications and makes the body in mahogany with a solid maple top, while the glued mahogany neck carries a rosewood fingerboard. To make long gigs and studio sessions playable without problems, the body features ultra-modern weight relief for weight reduction, while the slim taper profile lies comfortably in the hand and offers the perfect basis for classical and modern playing techniques.
Versatile humbucker sound
The Gibson Les Paul Studio 2017 T uses a Gibson 490R humbucker on the neck and a 498T humbucker on the bridge. With hotter wound coils and powerful Alnico blends, they deliver a modern, well-defined humbucker sound that never denies its relationship to the legendary PAFs. Accordingly, the electric guitar provides the appropriate timbres for classical and modern interpretations of blues and pop. Another special feature is the coil tap mode for every humbucker, which provides authentic single coil sounds.
Gibson's Les Paul Studio 2017 T comes with Gibson USA Hardshell Case.
hardware equipment
The hardware equipment of the Gibson Les Paul Studio 2017 T focuses on unlimited functionality. The strings are held on the body by the proven combination of aluminium stopbar and Tune-O-Matic bridge, which ensures perfect adjustment of intonation and string position. From there, the 24.75" scale length (628 mm) strings run across the neck, where they first hit the Tektoid saddle and are then guided to the indestructible Grover Rotomatic tuners, which convince with high precision and tuning stability.

Had a bad experience recently with an order for new guitar - so was reluctant to do mail order again without trying the guitar first, however the price was so competitive it was well worth the risk. There were no issues here. Packing and shipping were top notch, all arrived in good shape and on time from Germany with informative daily communications. More importantly, the Gibson guitar I ordered is just fantastic! Thanks guys.

After three days of the order the properly packed guitar has arrived. Beautiful workmanship, great feel and great sound as it’s expected from a Gibson. The neck is very comfortable and fast. Unbelievable sustain. The strings have to change to 0.10. Excellent value for this price.

At the price its a very fine example of lower end gibsons
The product surprised me in that the price inc a hardcase and was delighted with the sweet aroma of the case and guitar ... vanilla I think. playability was clearly set up ready nice action and buzz limited to bottom e at 3rd fret ! not bad at all. its not to heavy . pickups are good they seem bright but after adjusting height on bridge pick up seems less bright. so over all glad to have met Gibson equipment ! yes they are the real guitar makers the real thing , compared to other imitators out there. I will buy another one for sure !! just don't tell the good lady .

Great service by Musicstore! That was my first order here and for sure won't be the last! Delivery was fast enough - less than a week. Product came safe at my home. As for the guitar....don' t get fooled by the mega sale price people...that is a real Gibson guitar! It came brand new, with an excellent brown case and a few goodies as subscribed by musicstore. As far as the optics of the guitar great, except a tiny, very small and thin area in the body under the 20 fret like a dent (maybe the lacquer wasn't sprayed good enough), but it was no big deal. Needed only a few minutes to set it up right, as the tailpiece was way too high on the low E side without any particular reason, and as mentioned by others the fretboard was little dry, so it needed a small amount of lemon oil to get alive and shiny.. As for the UM Weght refief it sure does makes a lot of difference in a band situation to play standing for 2-3 hours. As for the sound i have no words...I have a more expensive Gibson LP and I was amazed how the new baby sings...!!! Warm, melodic, organic tunes is what you expect from a Gibson guitar, and this one does it all!!!! Split coils are a nice feature, also, for those who like more versatility. Again I m very pleased with the guitar which is highly recommended !!!!
