With the Ibanez Standard SML721-MAM Midnight Arctic Ocean Matte, Japanese guitar maker Ibanez presents a special model from the Axe Design Lab collection that combines the advantages of the Quest models with features from the AZ series. While the Nyatoh body follows the slender S design and certifies the instrument's outstanding playability, the classic wizard neck made of five strips of maple and walnut with a scale length rising from 25" to 25.5" offers the best playing conditions right up to the highest positions of the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The two Q58 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions are already used in the Ibanez Quest and impress with first-class sounds that are extremely versatile, from expressive clean and crunch sounds to tight high-gain. In combination with the dyna-MIX10 circuit with additional Alter Switch familiar from the AZ instruments, a total of 10 different pickup combinations are available here, which are guaranteed to leave nothing to be desired.
The Ibanez Standard SML721-MAM Midnight Arctic Ocean Matte in the slim Sabre design combines innovative features of the Quest and AZ models.
