The Ortega RMA5 8-String Mandolin Natural features a 2 way truss rod and is extra light to hold. Its open pore finish adds to its authenticity as an instrument. The RMA5 has a solid top with a mahogany ceiling and mahogany back and sides offering a rich and dynamic tone.
The main features of the Ortega RMA5 8-String Mandolin Naturalinclude:
The finish on this madolin is awful. It feels like sandpaper to touch and the back is coming unglued from the sides. It is a left hand mandolin but has a right hand bridge fitted. The strings have to be very high to stop any buzzing. I will probably send it back, even a cheap Stagg mandolin can't be any worse than this.
