The instruments pegs are made from rosewood which keeps its shape longer which makes them long lasting and easier to tune and keep in tune. Primavera 90 - 4/4 Cello outfit CF015 incl. Case and BowI shall start by saying I am a 72 year old beginner! I chose this cello beacause it was the cheapest 'carved body'. The hardwood finger board, pegs and plane steel strings also keep the price down considerably. I was disappointed with the strings, BUT, appropriate for a heavy handed young beginner. A new set of Prelude strings a few weeks later and I am more than happy with this cello.
