The Rode Complete Studio Kit includes the AI-1 audio interface, the legendary Rode NT1 large diaphragm condenser microphone, a shock mount with detachable pop screen and all cables. Thus this set offers a perfect introduction to the world of home recording. The NT-1 is ideal for recording vocals, podcasts and dubbing movies. Due to its extremely low inherent noise, the NT-1 shines in recording situations with very quiet sound sources.

The NT-1 has a cardioid characteristic and therefore only picks up sound from the front. The sound at the back of the microphone is ignored. The purpose of this characteristic is to be able to pick up a sound source very purposefully and to be able to fade out signals in the background and from the side.

Vintage sound

Rode has developed the HF6 capsule especially for the NT1. It is an edge-polarized, gold-vaporized 1" capsule that has been trimmed for vintage sound. Their sound is clearly reminiscent of legendary classics, but it rushes much less (almost not at all). Thanks to the cooperation with Rycote, Rode is also breaking new ground when it comes to suspension - a miniature lyric in which the capsule is suspended prevents disturbing vibrations from the outset.
