SCHALLER M6 Pin Locking 6L Chrome
Clamping mechanisms with double pin locking
The Schaller M6 Locking Pin Mechanisms Chrome is a set of six guitar tuners, featuring a locking pin mechanisms, with a gear ratio of 1:16, and come in chrome. With this tuner the string is locked in the shaft by a handy knurled nut located on the rear of the peghead, resulting in a low overall height. This is a 6-in-line model with two different shaft lengths (staggered).
The main features of the Schaller M6 Locking Pin Mechanisms Chrome include:
These things were a quick and simple drop-in replacement for the tuners for my Ibanez. Should be compatible with all 6-in-line right handed headstocks with 10mm holes and two-point mounting holes as opposed to screws.
These are staggered tuners and need to be installed in a specific position. I had to trawl the net for advice. The tuners are numbered underneath but I don't think that means anything as it looks like one of them is number 7. There is only 1.5+ mm in the height difference but apparently the three taller ones are for the E A D and the slightly shorter ones are for G B E??
