With the Sigma SOMR-28, the manufacturer expands its collection with a fully solid acoustic guitar in traditional orchestra design, which offers outstanding playing comfort in addition to a balanced and powerful sound. Made from a fine-grained Sitka spruce top and a high-quality rosewood body, the compact guitar produces an incredibly balanced tone that is particularly clear in the mid and treble frequencies. A lightly polished, ultra-thin varnish with additionally contributes to a fast sound development and at the same time gives the instrument a timeless vintage look. For an accommodating playing feel, the manufacturer installs a mahogany neck with a fine ebony fingerboard, which subtly highlights the value of the SOMR-28 guitar with its small-diamond inlays. To guarantee clean intonation over the entire scale length of 645 mm, the 44.5 mm wide nut and the bridge inlay set into the traditionally held ebony bridge are made of bone material. Open Grover nickel tuners also make it easy to tune the 6 steel strings and round off the instrument perfectly in terms of aesthetics.
