24" scale length for smooth playing characteristics
As a former student guitar with a shortened 24" scale length, the Squier FSR Bullet Competition Mustang offers buttery smooth playing characteristics up to the highest fret of the bolt-on maple neck in the supple C-profile. The handy poplar body also sits comfortably on the player.
Powerful humbuckers, indestructible hardware
With two powerful Squier standard humbuckers, the Bullet Competition Mustang feels right at home in the distorting sounds of grunge, punk, rock and metal. But also in the clean channel the electric guitar convinces with official sounds for harmonic chords and sparkling arpeggios. Both pickups are controlled classically by a 3-way toggle switch and general controls for volume and tone. Indestructible hardware in the form of a fixed 6-saddle hardtail bridge and tuning stable die-cast tuners complete the FSR Bullet Mustang HH IL Black with Shoreline Gold Stripes by Squier.

Bolt-On construction with 24" scale length (610 mm)
I bought this guitar for my daughter to start learning guitar on. It is great for this purpose due to the light weight and slightly shorter scale length.
For the money this guitar is amazing. Don't get me wrong it is a little rough around the edges but nothing that can't be sorted out. When it arrived I adjusted the truss rod as the neck was slightly bowed but it did not need any other adjustment and now has a nice low action. Intonation was great. The fret edges were all nice and smooth with no sharp/rough edges. The only thing to note is that the neck is unfinished. Again this is easily sorted - I plan to just rub in some Danish Oil to give it a nice satin finish and protect it. After this it will probably play better than my other guitars.
For the money there is nothing to complain about. Even the pickups sound reasonable. If my daughter doesn't continue her playing I have a great fun practice guitar for myself.

For the money, this is incredible. Dv 247 had checked and set up and I cannot fault it. Plays well and sounds better than other more expensive guirars I own

You have to take the price into account, if you paid lots more you might feel cheated but the bullet Mustang punches way above it's weight. Build quality is perhaps the biggest giveaway on price but it's not bad at all just some minor setup on mine, the sounds is great, powerful and versatile, it looks great and is Joy to play, so light and comfortable. A bargain, brilliant first guitar and able to live up to upgrades and experienced users just as well.

Plays really nicely, especially for the price. Intonation is a bit out on the bottom E string but that can be sorted. Also it looks super cool. 100% would recommend.
