Stylophone Gen X-1 at a glance
The Gen X-1 from Stylophoneis a compact analog synthesizerwith delay effect in desktop format with the iconic pen control. The basic waveform is joined by two switchable sub-octave layers for the tonal foundation. The generated spectrum is filtered with a slightly snappy low-pass filter. Thanks to the attack/decay envelope and LFO with square and triangle waveforms, there is plenty of movement in the sound. The tones are played using a contact pin and the 24 metal plates, which represent the range of two octaves. Output is via the built-in loudspeaker and via aux and headphone output. To operate the Stylophone Gen X-1, four AA batteries are required, which are not included in the scope of delivery.
