As the third module within the XAOC DevicesLeibniz Binary Subsystem, Jena needs to be paired with other Leibniz modules, such as the main Drezno module. The module has eight outputs that can optionally output parts of a waveform, switching states or trigger patterns. There are also CV inputs for the Bank, Shape and Phase parameters. No matter if drum loop, modulation source or oscillator signal, Jena takes the input signal from Drezno and puts a template on it, uses it as a cutting pattern (for distortion character), feeds the result back to Drezno and outputs the signal cut into eight parts at the individual outputs. Together with the inputs from the main module, single inputs and outputs can be put into a direct relation to each other. When using slow waveforms, Jena outputs staccato-like trigger patterns at the digital outputs.
