With the Yamaha THR10II Wireless, Yamaha gives the popular living room and bedroom amp a well-deserved makeover and expands the range of functions with a number of interesting details that promise both guitarists and bassists first-class and versatile sounds. While two 10-watt outputs and two 3.1" full-range speakers deliver a surprisingly big and powerful sound image, the elaborate Virtual Circuit Modeling guarantees particularly authentic simulations of the most legendary amplifiers and effects for electric guitar, electric bass and acoustic guitar. Thanks to the advanced wireless features, the amp can be played wirelessly using the optional Line 6 G10T transmitter, and Bluetooth can be used to play music or receive MIDI commands. The Yamaha THR10II Wireless also features a built-in USB audio interface. Last but not least, an integrated rechargeable battery is on board, which provides up to five hours of playing time away from power outlets.

Heard a lot of good things about this which I'm sure you'll already know about. The only negative about this product is how it connects to other devices via Bluetooth or USB. It is fiddly and confusing as you need to follow some very specific steps to get it working as it should. Saying that, once it is connected, it is fantastic and it's such a shame that something so simple of an issue, wouldn't have come up in user tests. Clear cut instructions should be included in the box, however you have to go through a couple of non intuitive sites (you can't actually select your product and then choose supported software, you just search for your model and anything that includes any of your search terms is returned, lame) worrying about whether you have the correct driver for your product.
Tips for those who are struggling;
Android app requires Bluetooth AND location enabled to connect and it takes a good 10 - 15 seconds to pop up in the well hidden menu.
I had to turn the amp on and off a few times in order for the windows app to detect it the first time.
I had issues when recording via the USB audio interface. There would be some bizarre sound coming through the signal and then after a period of time, the signal would stop completely for a half second then repeat. It seems as though changing the sampling rate to 48khz instead of 44khz in the sounds > recording > advanced options (windows) fixed it.
I can't stress enough how everything else is amazing about the product, other than some less than stellar software accompaniment. The software is completely optional but there's a bunch of extra awesome features if you do use it like additional cab settings, extended SFX controls and separate noise gate and compressor so I recommend trying it.
The best thing about the amp is the sound. I had heard that it was a good sounding amp, but I was surpriced by how amazing it actually sounds, with no effect pedals neccecary at all! And it looks good on a shelf in the living room ;)
The "out of the box" tones are spot on. I managed to score a "return" from Musicstore, as the full price is a little steep, but performance and playability are unbeatable
Bought this amp as an upgrade to the original THR10 and I am highly delighted with it. The new wireless and Bluetooth features are excellent and the overall sound quality is superb.
