Its guitar-like fretting made it considerably easier to play, too! The Danelectro Sitar brings the flower power sound back to life, with buzzing tones, including the essential ‘drone’ strings. This reissue stays true to the original, delivering strong, characterful sounds. A unique feature of the electric sitar is the 13 unfretted yet resonating drone strings, which significantly shape the instrument's distinctive, subliminal sound. The six main strings and the drone strings offer limitless tuning possibilities.
