The Epiphone Jimi Hendrix "Love Drops" Flying V consists of a mahogany body and is complemented by a glued, one-piece mahogany neck with a rounded "C" profile. The 22-fret Laurel fingerboard with Mother of Pearl dot inlays ensures excellent handling when quick chord changes or leads are required. The string action is kept stable by the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, while the Epiphone Deluxe tuners with Double Ring Keystone Button ensure reliable tuning. The Maestro Short Vibrola turns out to be an excellent feature for tickling wild vibratos out of the instrument.
With two Gibson Custombucker pickups, the Jimi Hendrix "Love Drops" Flying V delivers a rich sound that is characterized by a dense tone with sufficient low-end and assertive mids.
