Unveiled at the 2020 NAMM Show, the Fender 1956 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Super Faded Aged Candy Apple Red over 2-Color Sunburst demonstrates authentic specs and a visually appealing color-over-color finish. The body is crafted from two-piece alder in the legendary Stratocaster shaping and carries three Custom Shop Fat '50s single coils for the raw and brute sound of the early Stratocaster models and also relies on the matching Fat '50s Wiring for clear and present tones on all volume settings. For the right feel, a neck made of Rift Sawn Maple is used, whose distinctive 11/56 Off Center 'V' neck profile allows full control at Chords and bends. The hardware remains historically correct vintage style, while visual details like the Super Faded Aged Candy Apple Red over 2-Color Sunburst finish and a single-ply 'Eggshell' pickguard make the 1956 Stratocaster Heavy Relic a real eye-catcher on stage.
