INSTRUO Troika

Troika by Instruo is an analog tone generator with three independent oscillators. Each tone generator can be coarsely and finely adjusted in frequency, has a hardsync input, an input for 1V/Oct tracking and an input including attenuator for linear FM. There is also a waveform output and a level control that affects the mix output. Oscillators 2 and 3 can follow the tracking of oscillator 1 via a toggle switch and therefore do not necessarily need their own control voltage. The oscillators are fairly similar in design, primarily differing in their range of waveforms and their mix ratios. Each oscillator offers two sets of mixable waveforms, where fader left/right corresponds to the printed waveform, all settings in between are mixed waveforms. Which Set is present at the output is determined by a switch. Only oscillator 3 provides a square waveform with modulatable pulse width as a second choice. This makes Troika an excellent candidate for fat leads and basses in Minimoog style, offers itself for all kinds of FM sounds and delivers well-functioning chord sounds.
