The JICO J44A 7 pickup system with the N44-7 DJ IMP SD pickup needle is perfect for club use, beat juggling and scratching with control vinyl. Made in Japan, the N44-7 DJ IMPROVED SD pickup needle is crisp and clear in the higher frequencies. At the same time with strong bass, powerful and pronounced, it rounds out a lively, powerful and dynamic sound image. Not only the sound output and output power is very close to the SHURE M44 pickup, but also the J44 pickup sampling ability and tracking accuracy, which is characterized by high bounce resistance and low record wear. Perfectly suited for scratching and beat juggling, eg. with control vinyls. JICO "SD" styli are made entirely of synthetic diamonds . Synthetic diamonds (SD) are man-made diamonds that have the same chemical composition, crystal structure, and optical/physical properties and hardness as natural diamonds (ND). Natural diamonds vary in hardness due to their natural formation, while synthetic ones offer the advantage of consistent hardness. The shape of SD tips is conical. Their guaranteed playback time has been set at 200 hours.
