Press Point from Make Noise is an analog Pressure controller that generates four values simultaneously when the printed copper wire is touched. The two sockets on the right-hand side have a switching function. One generates a gate that is held until you remove your finger from the wire surface. The other Gate output switches Gate on at the first touch and off again at the second. The control voltages generated are output on the left-hand side. Pressure CV is comparable to the Aftertouch of a keyboard and its sensitivity can be adjusted. Smooth Pressure CV behaves very similarly but has an adjustable slew value so that very soft and erratic control voltages can also be realized.
