The WarpEXexpander module extends the main module Warp and MIDI and MPE as well as four CV/Gate inputs so that all four voices can be used. The richly equipped Synthvoice Warp with its many parameters is made to be played with more than one CV/Gate source. Warp's Factory presets are already designed for MPE playability. With MPE, each note is transmitted on its own Midi channel, so that pitch bend, aftertouch and a CC value are transmitted separately for each note played. These are available as separate sources in Warp's modulation matrix and can be assigned to all destinations. This means that the pressure can be increased while holding down a key, thereby changing the sound, but also that the position at which you touch the key has an additional influence on the sound. Some keyboard controllers also support tilting the key, which allows you to control individual notes Pitch and Vibrato. The expander also offers the option of controlling the voices individually via CV/Gate. Hybrid setups are also possible, in which MIDI notes and control voltages play the voices mixed.
