The scale length of 24,594", created McCarty 594 after painstaking planning, strikes the golden mean between authentic Vintage Timbre and comfortable playability, while the classical combination of mahogany body and glued neck promises a particularly warm sound. Further highlights are the solid maple top and the PRS 58/15 Humbucker with flexible coil split circuit.

Like all guitars from the noble forge in Maryland, this PRS McCarty 594 one also convinces with flawless workmanship and a first-class wood selection. The most striking feature is undoubtedly the particularly vividly drawn maple top, the special Charcoal Burst finish of which changes from a rich Schwarz grey at the edge of the body to a timeless grey. The greatest care is also taken when selecting the mahogany for the body and the glued neck.

A not inconsiderable part of the development time was PRS McCarty 594 spent finding the perfect bore length. After countless trials and a series of prototypes, the choice was made for exact 24,594" or 624.69 mm, which lend the electric guitar its name and strike the perfect balance between authentic Vintage sound development and outstanding playing comfort. This is also supported by the " Pattern Vintage " profile of the neck, which nestles comfortably in the hand with its strong curves in the shape of a "C".
PRS 58/15 LT Humbucker with Coil Split function give it PRS McCarty 594 a flexible sound.

The amplifier is McCarty 594 Charcoal Burst also particularly flexible. Here the PRS 58/15 Low turns Humbucker with low output, whose winding wire is made on an original machine from the 1950s, deliver a particularly warm Vintage sound, whose enormous clarity and midrange presence bring every note to life. Additional timbres can also be called up via the push/pull switches in the tone controls, which split the tones Humbucker into Single coils and deliver clear, bell-like tonal nuances.
The PRS Tweaked Phase III tuners promise a perfect resoance transmission of the strings.
Tweaked Phase III mechanics
The Paul Reed Smith McCarty 594 Charcoal Burst completes the range with high-quality Hardware equipment from its own house, whose timeless Nickel finish underlines the noble appearance of the electric guitar. The PRS Tweaked Phase III mechanics are used on the headstock, whose gearwheel and worm are pulled together by an additional screw to ensure a more direct resonance transfer to the Instrument headstock. On top of this, the PRS 2-piece Stoptail sits on the body, which Messing consists of a Tailpiece string to be suspended from above and an adjustable bridge with string riders.
