Orianthi Panagari's unparalleled career as a guitarist took her to the world's great stages at a young age, with numerous assignments for icons such as Alice Cooper, Steve Vai and Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora. For her virtuoso fretboard work, the seasoned musician always relied on models from the cult guitar manufacturer PRS from Stevensville, Maryland, which is why Paul Reed Smith is now tailoring a very special limited edition instrument to the Australian high-flyer with the PRS Private Stock Orianthi Signature. The limited edition from the Private Stock collection includes numerous personalized features, a unique 'Blooming Lotus Glow' finish and of course the incomparable sound and feel of the classic Custom 24 electric guitar. PRS hardshell case included!

Strong mahogany body with curly maple top
Following the classic basic design of the Custom 24, the body of the Private Stock Orianthi is composed of a solid and resonant mahogany body with a two-piece curly maple top of the best quality and evokes the unmistakable swinging behaviour of the proven mahogany/maple combination. For easy access to the highest fingerboard positions, the proven Custom 24 design provides wide-contoured cutaways. The top features furthermore a symmetrical book matching and a circumferential natural binding as a visual finish, while the filigree violin carve gives the Private Stock Orianthi additional playability for the right hand.
In reference to Orianthi's name (Greek for 'beautiful flower'), an intricate Lotus Vine inlay serves to fret-mark the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
One-piece Pattern Thin mahogany neck.
With the Pattern Thin profile of the one-piece mahogany neck, the Private Stock Orianthi follows classic PRS playability and offers absolute control over technically demanding licks and riffs. For this, 24 frets are available for the full two-octave range on the rosewood fingerboard. As a personalized highlight, the unique Lotus Vine inlay extends across the entire fretboard of Orianthi's signature guitar, skillfully emphasizing the Greek meaning of her first name.
In addition to PRS Phase III locking tuners, the headstock of the PRS Orianthi Signature guitar bears the signatures of Paul Reed Smith and Private Stock Director Paul Miles.
Premium Hardware Parts from PRS
The PRS Private Stock Orianthi hardware features only in-house detailed solutions that combine classic design with useful modern upgrades. For example, the six PRS Phase III locking tuners feature the coherent look of traditional Vintage-Style tuners and a modern clamping function to simplify string changes and optimize the tuning stability of all six strings. This also applies to the frequent use of the PRS Gen III tremolo, which operates in the classic vintage trem manner, but with numerous improvements to the third Generation of the innovative bridge design.

Powerful PRS 58/15 Humbuckers
Underneath the two nickel caps in neck and bridge position are two PRS 58/15 humbuckers, which are responsible for the sound conversion at the amplifier. The two pickups from PRS follow the historical recipe of the sought-after P.A.F. pickups as they were used in original instruments of the Late Fifties and Early Sixties and convince with a traditional vintage character resulting from a balanced sound with a moderate Output. The circuitry of the PRS Private Stock Orianthi Limited Edition, on the other hand, follows the original Custom 24 and offers common volume and tone controls, while the five-position pickup selector switch provides interesting combination circuits in addition to full-bodied humbucker sounds.
