The Phone Cage from Rode is a magnetic holder for smartphones with MagSafe®-compatible cases. The cage has an extremely strong permanent magnet in the center of the cage so that the attached smartphone remains securely positioned even under heavy use.

The frame of the Phone Cage is made of robust aluminum and offers a range of mounting options. There are a total of five lightning sockets to which microphones or wireless receivers can be attached, for example. The integrated cable guides in the corners of the frame also allow cables to be laid and fixed neatly. In addition, more than 30 threaded connections are available around the frame, offering versatile options for attaching additional equipment. These include fourteen standard 1/4" threads, seventeen ARRI 1/4" threads for professional accessories and two 3/8" threads that allow the cage to be mounted on microphone stands or studio arms. This sophisticated design makes the Phone Cage the ideal companion for professional mobile recording.
