On a slim 8HP the analog triangle core oscillator Banshee Reach from Shakmat Modular shines with several features. The waveforms can be smoothly crossfaded from sine to triangle, sawtooth to square, if this is too "variable" you can use the parallel to Vari available single outputs square, sawtooth and sine. The sub-oscillator can work either one or two octaves respectively two octaves with 25% pulse width below the main oscillator and is available individually and as a mixture at the Vari output. A special feature is the Disorder function, which reveals itself as a multi-layered noise source when activated, which is fed with random voltages. The frequency range of the Banshee Reach covers a very wide range, reaches far down to act as an LFO and furthermore convinces with stable tracking. The oscillator is modulated by ThruZero FM and index VCA, hard and soft sync and of course with CV for Vari-Shape and PWM. Settings for sync, LFO, suboctave, disorder activation and the octaver mode including tuning are stored.
