The Shure MV7+ in white is a dynamic microphone with a cardioid polar pattern, which was developed for podcast, streaming, vocal and instrument recordings. The cardioid polar pattern means that only sound waves that hit the diaphragm from the front are picked up. The sound that hits the microphone from the other sides is attenuated so that it is not audible. The microphone also has some helpful and useful functions to improve the sound if the recording environment is not acoustically ideal.
Thanks to its compatibility with the new Shure MOTIV Mix™ app and built-in features such as real-time denoiser, auto-level mode and digital pop protection, the MV7+ can also be set up in rooms where the acoustic environment is not optimal. The voice isolation technology separates the voice from unwanted ambient noise, the denoiser uses modern DSP technology and removes unwanted background noise, while the auto level meter optimally adjusts the gain of the microphone based on distance, volume and room detection, thus promoting a perfect audio level and avoiding clipping. If it is still necessary to improve or change the sound a little, Shure offers the ultimate helper with the new MOTIV Mix™ app. This program can be used, for example, to edit equalizer, compressor/limiter and gain settings and apply them to the MV7+. The app also enables multi-track recording and routing settings. The microphone itself also offers three different reverb types (plate, reverb, studio), which are very helpful depending on the recording situation and provide more depth and richness in the recording. Thanks to this massive range of helpful functions, the MV7+ is not only suitable for podcast or streaming applications, but for almost all recording situations - it significantly optimizes the sound.
Another special feature of the microphone is a customizable LED touch panel, which can also be adjusted in color via the MOTIV Mix™ app. The function of this panel is to mute the microphone. This is done by lightly tapping the panel, no matter where. If it is touched again, the mute function is deactivated. To round off the flexibility of the MV7+, in addition to the classic XLR connection , it also has a USB-C connection via which the microphone draws its power and can transmit audio. There is also a 3.5 mm jack connection on the underside, which can be used to listen to the audio material in real time via headphones.
