The Solid Gold FX Electroman MKII effect pedal from the Montreal-based effects company is an extremely versatile delay that leaves no tonal desire between traditional slap-back echo and atmospheric ambient sound unfulfilled. The effect pedal impresses with a warm "analogue" sound, while two delay lines with PT2399 chips deliver classic delays or repetitions with halftime feel, depending on the selected mode. In addition, the Solid Gold FX Electroman MKII effect pedal features a modulation effect that brings the echoes to life on demand, while the Warp mode drives the pedal into self-oscillation, greatly expanding the possibilities for musical expression. Last but not least, the Solid Gold FX Electroman MKII provides an effect insert that can be used to incorporate external effects for repetitions.
